Yesterday we drove to the south end of this island to view the tallest lighthouse in Florida, Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. It was built in the late 1800's. It's been turned into a museum. After basking in the beauty of this historical site we found a quaint
restaurant nearby for lunch. Besides human critters, the outd
oor deck was inhabited by a squirrel looking for handouts. Being the animal lover that I am, I decided to accommodate him. There were also a prepond

s. This fellow had just woke up. I tried to catch him spreading his wings but missed the shot.
