This Christmas we spent with Lindsay and Chris in Bancroft. Chris had a wonderful Christmas Eve service with about 25 people from the surrounding area attending. His mission to Lutherans is proceeding slowly just as in any other mission field. After church we returned to the Martin home and opened presents. Henry bought me a wireless keyboard and mouse (I love them) and an espresso machine - YUM!!!
On Christmas morning, we got ready for church again at 10 a.m. and then went to Chris' parents home for Christmas dinner with his 95 year old grandmother. Ham, mashed potatoes and all the trimmings. It was a good time. We even got presents.
Today I get the heart monitor removed and then on the 2nd. I get an echocardiogram. They probably won't discover why my heart is doing this weird dance but we'll check it out anyway.

UPS just delivered my devotional - Straight Pipes. They did an awesome job. Only $8.50 - how many do you want???
This is a photo of Chris and Lindsay's church.

Barb, great photo of that beautiful church...too bad these days we are into building structures with little to no character/style...you just can't beat the style our forefathers put into their church buildings.
Fun to read your blog!
