It always takes a fair amount of planning and at least two or three days to complete energize my house for Christmas. By energize I mean, add color, singing collectibles, and lots of candles for atmosphere. Our tree fits into it's corner nicely, don't you think?
My collectibles are snowmen of all shapes and sizes with a few Hallmark singing duos and trios thrown in. I get such fun out of all these merry Christmas carolers. My husband added a snowman this year who shakes his booty rather comically. This snowman is a motion sensor so we shut him off most of the time. He says Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas.
This is the tree in our guest room.
My other snowmen and women are all over the living room. Here is one bookcase full.
Don't forget the Kitchen.
Christmas is fun. The parties, entertaining freinds and family, and of course, the best part of the season is Jesus Christ. God, in the image of His Son, was born in a manger so that one day He could die on a cross for each of us, whether we deserve it or not. He loves us that much. No strings attached. We just believe and He adopts us as His children. What better gift could we give someone this Christmas season than telling them how much God loves them.
